Computer Maintenance and Repair

This is our core service that we first offered in 2000. There is no big check-in or up-front charge. I charge you for the time required to perform the services requested.

My minimum or bench charge is $35.00 and includes the first hour of labor. When I get your computer, I will discuss the problem with you and usually give you a pretty close estimate of exactly what needs to be done and the approximate cost.

I then:

• Verify the problem and hopefully fix it within that first hour.
• Run the appropriate diagnostic programs to verify that all other hardware and software is functioning correctly.
• If other problems are discovered, I will call you for approval before proceeding.
• Tune your computer to insure it is working at the best possible level.
  

Cost: $35.00 per hour of actual time working with your computer. It is always cheaper if you can bring the computer to me because many tests and procedures require long processing times where I am not directly involved and can do other tasks (sometimes even taking a nap). You do not pay for this extra processing time. If I have to come to your site, you are paying me for the total time on site.
